Indian Spiced Chickpea Burgers - a chill night in with my sister

Ingredients
  • 4 Mehrkornbrötchen by Schär
  • 2tbs mango chutnes
  • ⅓ cup soygurt
  • 1.5 cup cooked chickpeas (240g)
  • 3 tbs oats
  • 3tbs shredded coconut
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 10g tbs coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • coconut oil
Instructions
  1. Mix the soy yogurt with the mango chutney and set aside for later.
  2. In a food processor blend the chickpeas, oats and shredded coconut until the mixture is fairly smooth.
  3. Add the chickpea mixture into a bowl and add the coriander, chopped onion, chopped garlic, coriander, garam masala, curry and salt. Knead the mixture together with your hands and shape into equally sized patties.
  4. Heat up some coconut oil in a pan and fry the patties on medium heat for five minutes on each side. Lastly toast your buns. Then Place some savoy cabbage on the toasted bun, add the chickpea patty, avocado, beetroot and lastly the yogurt mango sauce. Enjoy with baked pumpkin and a salad on the side.
