Hey there!
Who else out there looooooves chocolate? Well I surely do and sometimes I just need my chocolate fix right after getting up in the morning. Usually I go for choc porridge, my crunchy brownie granola or a chocolate smoothie when those cravings hit me that early in the day, however I’ve recently been loving this super quick and easy vegan chocolate spread. Add 4 ingredients, use up five minutes of your precious time and tadaaaa vegan chocolate heaven ready to be soread on to a slice of toast or just eaten by the spoonful cause it’s just so damn tasty. And guys, the key ingrredient is avocado, yeps, that fruit you usually mash up add, a squeeze of lime, a dash of salt and enjoy it wrapped in a tortilla with some other yummy stuff.
I know guys, I am definitely not the inventor of the whole avocado and chocolate love story and I know that there are tons and tons of “healthy chocolate mousse” and “avocaod chocolate cream” recipe out there yet I still decidedto post this as it might hadn’t come to you that this stuff can actually easily be turned into a chocolate spread when adding a little less liquid. This is literally the perfect nutella alternative when you prefer hitting your day off on the healthier and more nutritious side.
So people, this choclate spread tastes AMAZING and you should try it, like right now! So here you have it the recipe for this yumminess.
- 1 avocado
- 2tbs cacao powder
- 2tbs almond milk (any plantbased milk works)
- 6 dates, pitted
- Add all of your ingredients into a blender.
- Mix until smooth.
- Spread on toast and top with fruit of your choice.
Isn’t it so easy and doesn’t it taste so so good? Sometimes I find it fascintaing how the smalles amount of ingredients can create the most delicious tasting things. Avocado, cacao, nutmilk and dates, that’s it.
Wishing you all a wonderful rest of your Sunday
Bisous
