Just three ingredients but truly delicious vegan sugar free chocolate mousse

Hey there!

Who likes chocolate? I like chocolate, well I love it to be truly honest with you. I mean how could one not love chocolate?! Yeah one couldn’t, I know.

Chocolate and I have been in a very close relationship ever since I can remember. We definitely had our ups and downs but after all I loooooove chocolate and the fact that too much of it makes me feel a tad nauseas at times won’t change my deep love for this one beautiful food. In fact, I should probably marry chocolate, I cannot imagine to ever having to live without it.

Chocolate, will you marry me?

Ok, this is going to far, I’ll stop now. I guess you all got it, I LOVE chocolate, always have, always will.

Now that that’s clear I’ll continue with the actual purpose of this post, another recipe, a recipe for amazing chocolatey goodness. A recipe that is going to make any chocoholic to cry of joy, a recipe as amazing it can’t get any better!

Healthified, vegan sugar free chocolate mousse, wait what?! Chocolate mousse, healthy? vegan? Nope I’m not kidding, it’s simple as and delicious oh my I can’t even…

  • 4 fresh dates/ medjool dates *
  • 250g silken tofu
  • 2tbs cacao powder

  1. Add all your ingredients into a food proccessor and process until smooth.
  2. When your mixture is smooth, pour into small jars, this makes enough for three to four, depending on how much you’d like to be one serving. Place in the fridge for it to set. However it can also be enjoyed straight away, it just won’t be as thick and I also think that it tastes better chilled.

Voila, that’s it, amazingly delicious, chocolatey goodness without the nasty stuff. How cool is that?! I decided to top it with a dollop of chia pudding, passion fruit pulp and a sprinkle of lingonberry powder, however this is completely optional. So, people, now it is on you to start “cooking”. I mean how easy was this, the perfect dessert for guests or a simple afternoon snack when you’re really craving that chocolate fix.

*if you haven’t got fresh dates/ medjool dates available make sure to double the amount of dates to achieve the desired sweetness. You can also increase the amount of dates you add depending on your preferences but I personally prefer a very dark and rich chocolate mousse.
